"I am pleased with the result, we had a top-ten there until the last lap which is good for our local sponsor, Imperial Capital Bank who are so supportive, they've got a suite just above my pit and they are really cheering us on which is awesome! We did a lot of work on the car this morning, which I think paid off for us this afternoon. We haven't run on our reds yet and too be honest; we are still learning how to maximize those."

Ryan Dalziel

"I am a bit disappointed; we've got some work to do on the car for sure. We're also learning how to get the most out of the 15 laps, our strategy and my timing as well. It's great to be back in Long Beach and I am looking forward to get back out there tomorrow. Every time a session is over I am bummed out because these cars are so unbelievably fun to drive!"

Tyler Tadevic, team director:

"It was a good first day of practice and qualifying for Pacific Coast Motorsports. I am pleased to see both cars working their way up the charts and we hope to carry that momentum into tomorrow. It is great to be back in Long Beach, we're proud to be representing local companies in Imperial Capital Bank and Ironclad and I still just can't believe we are here racing Champ Cars!"
