CTE RACING STAR'S PHILIPPE AND CLARK ARE OPTIMISTIC FOR A GOOD RUN AT TOMORROW'S LONG BEACH GRAND PRIX

NELSON PHILIPPE- #4 CTE Racing-HVM/Ford-Cosworth/Lola

Nelson on his final qualifying: "Unfortunately, we weren't able to accomplish the results we were going for today. There was too much traffic and I couldn't get a good lap in. I experienced a lot of understeer again today in final qualifying. We have more work to do on the car but I know the team will do a great job for tomorrow's race. I know that I have the ability to be at the front."

DAN CLARKE - #14 CTE Racing-HVM/Ford-Cosworth/Lola

Dan on his final qualifying: "I'm quite frustrated because we have been trying to get the setup right for the car and when we finally got it right, it was the last lap and a few cars caused a red flag at the hairpin. But that's motor racing. We have to accept that and keep working away for tomorrow. It's a long race! I'd like to thank the team for all their hard work over the weekend. I have learned so much this weekend and I can't wait for the rest of the season."
