The young French driver from the Newman-Haas team Sebastien Bourdais, Champcar World Champion 2004 and Tag Heuer ambassador since 2002, will chat on-line on the www.tagheuer.com website, with the Tag Heuer CEO Jean- Christophe Babin on December 3rd 2004.
It will be his first interview about the title he won on November the 7th in the last race of the season. It was his 7th victory of the season, including 8 pole positions (over 14 races) and ended the championship with 369 points (a new record), 28 more than his Brazilian co-driver (co-pilot?) Bruno Junqueira. With such an impressive result, he joins the most famous ChampCar champions such as Emerson Fittipaldi, Nigel Mansell, Jacques Villeneuve or Juan Pablo Montoya.
The following day, on December the 4th, Sebastien will be one of the leading names of the Race of Champions Nations Cup in Paris (Stade de France). Tag Heuer will ensure the official timing of this event gathering the world's 16 best pilots, among them David Coulthard, Tag Heuer ambassador and West McLaren Mercedes F1 driver, Michael Schumacher (7 times F1 World Champ) and Sebastien Loeb (World Rallye Champion 2004). For the very first time, this competition will use the 1/10 000 s Tag Heuer timing system.
The chat will take place on December the 3rd 2004 on www.tagheuer.com between 6.00 and 7.00 pm.
