Alex Figge and Ryan Dalziel Ready for Pacific Coast Motorsports Champ Car Debut

ALEX FIGGE, #29 IMPERIAL CAPITAL BANK/DP01/COSWORTH/BRIDGESTONE

Racer Ready: Alex Figge will make his Champ Car debut this weekend at the Vegas Grand Prix. Figge, a resident of Denver, Colorado, began his racing career at the age of 17 in the Pro Mazda series. He won in Champ Car's "AAA" series, the Atlantic championship before spending the last two season racing in North America's premier sports car series, the ALMS and Grand Am. While he is rookie in Champ Car, the last two seasons of sports car racing provided Figge with a lot of comparable racing experience in terms of race distance and pit stops.

Welcome Imperial Capital Bank: Pacific Coast Motorsports is proud to welcome Imperial Capital Bank as the primary sponsor for Alex Figge's #29 car. Alex Figge on his Champ Car debut: "I am really looking forward to making my Champ Car debut this weekend at the inaugural Vegas Grand Prix. This will be a weekend that I will never forget that is for sure. I've spent a lot of years preparing for this racing in Atlantic and the lower formulae's. After the last two years racing sports cars, it makes it even sweeter, I am thrilled to be back in open wheel and more importantly a Champ Car. At the same time, we have a lot to learn, especially since we didn't get as much track time as we had hoped for and anticipated during the three tests. The first three races are going to be a big learning process for sure. I really like street courses and I am happy we are starting off with three in a row on the streets. The circuit looks fantastic, it's got all the elements, high speed, tight turns, and passing zones, everything a driver could want. I've heard really good things about the circuit and of course the event is going to be huge, I am excited!"

RYAN DALZIEL, #28 Ironclad/DP01/Cosworth/Bridgestone

His Big Break: Ryan Dalziel began his racing career as a child in Scotland at the age of eight. After winning several karting championships, and competing in Europe's open wheel ranks, such as British Formula Three and British Formula Renault, Dalziel came to the United States to compete in the Champ Car Atlantic Series, where he amassed six victories and 12 podiums. Pacific Coast Motorsports hired Dalziel in 2005 to compete in sports cars alongside teammate Alex Figge. Dalziel's dreams of competing in North America's highest level of open wheel racing will become a reality this weekend when he kicks off his Champ Car career at the Vegas Grand Prix.

Welcome Ironclad: Pacific Coast Motorsports is please to continue their long-time partnership with Ironclad performance wear. A California based company; Ironclad revolutionized the dexterity, protection and comfort of work gloves. For more information, visit www.ironclad.com.

Ryan Dalziel on the Vegas Grand Prix: "I am really excited to get going and get the first one over and done with and hopefully have a good professional showing and move on to the next one. I am sure Las Vegas will be a big party on and off the track; it will definitely be one to go down in the history books. It will be an emotional weekend for me, that is for sure. I've hoping for my big break in Champ Car and Pacific Coast has given it to me, I am very thankful. I wish it was my first start as I would love for my first Champ Car race to have been with PCM. At the same time, its been so long since my first and only start back in 2005 at Toronto, that this actually feels like it anyway. I think we are as prepared as we can be as a new team and new drivers, everyone has worked their butt's off and now it is time to get racing and have some fun!"
