Justin qualifies 9th at Las Vegas

Justin and the RuSPORT team qualified 9th for Saturday's Hurricane Relief 400 race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. After struggling to find a comfortable set-up in the first practice session, Justin and his #9 CDW crew were able to find a more stable balance in qualifying. Justin waived one of his two flying qualifying laps in order to go out later in cooler, faster conditions. Having found a good platform, the team will be working hard to improve the set-up during the evening's practice session.

"The car was a lot more stable in qualifying than it was in practice", commented Justin after the session. "I feel like we've got room to improve and I don't have quite as much of a death grip on the wheel, so we'll take it from there in tonight's practice. Hopefully we can make the car a bit quicker. Last year we struggled in qualifying, but had a very good race car, so we were able to work our way through the pack. This year we're starting a little further up the grid so I think we can challenge early in the race and hopefully end up with a good result."
