Forsythe Championship Racing Ready To Go All In at Las Vegas
Las Vegas, Nevada -- April 4th, 2007 -- The Forsythe Championship Racing crew along with returning driver Mario Dominguez will join Paul Tracy at his adopted home town of Las Vegas today as they prepare for the start of the 2007 Champ Car World Series Season. It's been a busy two weeks for the Forsythe crew which has put in long hours and late nights in order to ensure that the # 3 and # 7 Champ Cars are perfectly prepared and ready to be taken through streets of Las Vegas at full speed.
Tracy, a Las Vegas resident, will return to Champ Car competition after missing the last round of the Season last year due to injury. This will mark Tracy's 250th Champ Car start, the most of any active driver. He also leads the active driver list with most Victories (30), Pole Positions (25), and Podiums (72). A 2006 Season which was plagued with mechanical failures and on track incidents proved to be a tough one for Tracy and the # 3 crew, but things seem to be turning around as the Forsythe Team hopes to capitalize on the speed that it has shown during preseason testing and the long hours of preparation leading up to the Vegas Grand Prix, the Season Opener for the 2007 Champ Car World Series.
Mexican driver Mario Dominguez will begin his sixth year as a Champ Car driver, he rejoins the Forsythe Team after competing during the full 2005 and part of the 2006 Season together. Dominguez placed ninth in the 2006 Championship despite racing for three different teams, he had a best finish of second in Australia, and captured his first career Pole Position with the Forsythe Team at the Grand Prix of Houston. He is currently is the only Hispanic driver in the field and is sure to draw huge cheers from the Latin fans not only in Las Vegas, but also Long Beach and Houston.

"It's great being able to start out the Season in a track that's only a few minutes from my house. It's been a long off season with many changes, I've been working very hard and so has the Forsythe Team and even though we had some problems during testing, we've shown that we have the speed and we are going to go out there and try to win the Season Opener and start out on the right track for the Championship.
I'm excited about racing through the streets of Las Vegas, I've seen the track and it looks like they've done a great job, it is a very interesting track. It is wide, it is fast, and it seems to be pretty smooth, I think it will be a lot of fun. There's been a lot of promotion leading up to this weekend; I have no doubt that it will be a big success."

"Well obviously I'm really excited to be racing in Las Vegas, a couple of weeks ago I wasn't really sure whether that was going to happen or not. I really can't wait, the track looks great, and it is going to be a really big event, and I get to race there with the Forsythe Team, so you can't ask for much more.
Unfortunately I didn't get to do a lot of testing with the new car during the pre-season, but even with the limited laps that I did I realized right away that not only is the new car very fast and very stable, but it also matches my driving style quite well, so I'm very confident about our odds in Vegas. I am sure that you will see the Telmex/Cabi Developers car up front!"
The Vegas Grand Prix, Round 1 of the 2007 Champ Car World Series will take place April 6-8 through the streets of downtown Las Vegas.
