"That's a good way to finish the day. The car feels very good right now. There was a lot of traffic to deal with out there. It seemed like it took eight laps to get one clear lap. I really wasn't happy about that at all but my engineer, Eric (Cowdin), did a good job of keeping me calm over the radio. Thanks to him, we got a setup that worked very well in traffic and on old tires. Finally, at the end of the session, I said 'let's put some new tires on and go for it.' On the very first flying lap, we ended up in the top seven. It's something good to build on for the rest of the weekend. Maybe I shouldn't say this, but we might have a lot of car left."
