"It's been a frustrating day. We just can't seem to get a good balance on the car. The rear really wants to come around and it's just so hard to drive. What makes it especially difficult is that the handling is unpredictable... I get a handle on one part of the track and then try to go just a hair faster but the car is completely different.
"But I know the guys are working really hard to give me a good car to drive. Now I will sit down with (chief engineer) Tom (Brown) and (managing director) Keith (Wiggins) and we will try to work out what to do for tomorrow. I'm sure we'll find something."
