Justin buoyed up for Houston
The Champ Car World Series has arrived in Texas for Sunday's Grand Prix of Houston, the last of three back-to-back street races to launch the 2007 season. Coming off his 4th place finish in Long Beach, Justin is feeling much more confident about the pace of the #9 CDW car.
The layout of the 1.69 mile JAGFlo Speedway at Reliant Park is unchanged from a year ago, but the promoters have worked hard on the track surface which should be a lot smoother for Sunday afternoon's race. Justin finished 5th in last year's Houston night race and he's eager to improve on that this year.
"We did well in Houston last year and I hope we can be even stronger here in the #9 CDW car this year", said Justin. "I think that what we learned in Long Beach will give us a good race car in Houston and keep us moving up the grid. It's a great course and a great location, but last year the track was very bumpy and at times it was hard to see. But I hear that they have made some improvements to the track so it should be even better to drive on. I look forward to getting back there and racing hard."
