HOUSTON - Luiz Garcia Jr. was hoping for a great run during his first race in the streets of Houston, but things did not quite go his way.

Garcia had run as high as 16th place before having something in the drivetrain, ending his run after 46 laps. He was classified 22nd.

Still, it was a memorable weekend for Garcia and the Project Racing Group as the Hollywood-Embratel-Telegate-Reynard/Mercedes-Benz was named the winner of the PPG Color & Design Award.

Up next for Garcia and Team P.R.G. is the Honda Indy 300, at Surfer's Paradise, in Australia.

"Something broke in the car and we're not sure what it was. We think it was a drivetrain, but it was another difficult race for us and not one where we were at our best. We were hoping to hang in there and score some points. There's not much to do now except gear up for Australia." - Luiz Garcia Jr., Driver

"We were up to sixteenth place and with our pit stop strategy things were looking good when we broke something in the drivetrain. It has not been the best of good luck streaks for us. Hopefully, we'll get something good coming our way at Surfer's Paradise and turn things around." - Andreas Leberle, Team Owner
