Buckle Up: While watching the Champ Car races on television recently, you may have seen two public service announcements featuring Bryan Herta. Herta was chosen by CART, Ford and the Department of Transportation and Safety to promote the Buckle Up America and Crash Test Safety campaigns. The public service announcements were filmed earlier this summer at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The footage of Herta racing was filmed at Portland International Raceway during the Champ Car event in June.

Mastering the Road Course: Herta has made 70 Champ Car starts on the road and street circuits. Of the 70 starts, Herta has qualified in the top-ten 41 times and finished in the top-ten 32 times. 58% of Herta's road and street course starts have been in the top-ten and he has earned a 45% top-ten finish rate on the road and street courses.

Herta on Vancouver: "This will be my sixth time racing at Vancouver and it has always been a great event for me. It is a fun place to go racing and I am definitely looking forward to it. It is fairly tight and a tough place to pass so like all street courses, qualifying and pit strategy will play a huge role in the outcome of the race. The folks that run the race do such a great job, the race is an event there, there is always a lot going on and the fans are terrific, so Vancouver is definitely one of the highlights of the season."
