Evidently Emerson Fittipaldi drove Al Unser, jr's race winning car from last year, equipped with this years 2.65L engine, in an attempt to find enough speed to qualify. He was only able to do a little over 220, which isn't near enough.

Also, this validates the struggles Johansson is having getting enough speed this year. If it wasn't for last years huge power advantage, the Penskes would have been left in the dust.

Unser should be running the '94 Reynard chassis today. The other team that Penske is buying a '94 Reynard chassis from is Hall Racing.
