Justin looks forward to Edmonton

Justin is eager to get his championship campaign back on track this weekend at the Grand Prix of Edmonton. He and RuSPORT have every reason to feel confident as they head north to the 1.973 mile airport circuit. Although the 2005 race finished in disappointment, last year the team dominated the event and locked out the front row in both qualifying sessions. This weekend marks a significant milestone for Justin's RuSPORT team-mate Cristiano da Matta. The Edmonton race will be the Brazilian driver's 100th career Champ Car start.

Alterations have been made to the track since the Champ Car circus last visited the city. A year ago most of the overtaking action was at Turn 11, but because parts of the track have been opened up there should be more opportunities to pass into Turns 1 and 10. Justin is looking forward to sampling the new layout.

"I'm really looking forward to getting back to Edmonton", said Justin. "After last year's result the CDW team will be aiming for a podium finish. The track is unique, because it's set on airport runways, but it also features some permanent corners like a traditional road course. Last year, the race was very well received by the fans in Edmonton and it was only the first year of the event. I think the location is perfect, and it should be a great event again this year."
