The championship contenders for the 2006 Champ Car World Series will all start from the sharp end of the grid for Sunday's Grand Prix of Denver. Justin is on the second row after setting the 3rd fastest time in final qualifying with a 59.878s lap (99.623 mph). Although Justin and the #9 CDW RuSPORT team found more pace from the car during Saturday's practice sessions, it wasn't enough to take the battle to championship leader Sebastien Bourdais who grabbed pole for Newman-Haas with a new lap record (59.096s/100.941 mph). The Frenchman starts alongside Forsythe's A.J. Allmendinger who was 2nd fastest in final qualifying (59.350s). A.J.'s team-mate Paul Tracy starts alongside Justin after qualifying 4th (59.903s).

"My car got better as the day went on", said Justin. "We were going in the right direction, but unfortunately weren't quick enough to challenge Sebastien and A.J.. The balance isn't too bad, but we've got a bit of work to do to see if we can get a little more grip out of the car which is where we're struggling".
