Tiago Monteiro debut in Denver

Fittipaldi-Dingman Racing will make their Denver debut this weekend at the Centrix Financial Grand Prix of Denver. The 2003 Bridgestone Presents the Champ Car World Series round 15 or 19 will run on the 1.647-mile street course from Friday August 29th through Sunday August 31st. The team arrived in the Mile High City this morning, while driver Tiago Monteiro came straight from Montreal in an effort to acclimate himself to the altitude prior to hitting the track on Friday.

"Denver is really important for us," said the young driver. "We have a lot of sponsors and contacts there, so it's really an important race for the team. I don't know a lot about the track. I've heard it's small and narrow, but still nice to drive, so we'll see. We been in good form for the last 6 or 7 races, but have not been able to finalize the results we'd hoped for, so I'm really motivated to have a good result here."
