Morning Practice: 13th - 1:44.069 Provisional Qualifying: 14th - 1:41.889
On Qualifying: "Well, of course I am not happy at all to be in the slow group tomorrow. We have had so many red flags today, that it is tough to really get a good read of the way things are going. This afternoon was a little better, but I still only completed nine laps in the entire session. I am not sure what is going on, the car doesn't't feel bad, the handling is okay. Nothing feels great, but not bad either. We need to have a long look at the data tonight, and see where we are losing time. Hopefully, we will have a better day tomorrow."

Morning Practice: 20th - 1:44:634 Provisional Qualifying: 12th - 1:41.707
On Qualifying: "Once again, this weekend I am racing on a new track, as I have only tested here, so I am learning a lot every time I go out. The car was better this afternoon than it has ever been, and for sure better than it was when we tested. I had a bit of push in one and two. We were starting to really pick up some power toward the end of the session and then the track went red. I think tomorrow we should have no problem picking up a few positions. I am very happy to be back in the fast group, that is very important here."
