Vasser on the Race:
"My wrist is a little sore from my battle with Moreno. I might have been a bit ambitious there, but I figured he know I was there. Just as much my fault as anyone's, it is a shame because I think it might have knocked the front out a little bit. It was an aggressive race but it was a lot of fun. We had to use tires that had 27 laps on them for the last stint, I was trying to catch Tag and I just lost it. Just about everything that could happen did, we had one bad stop, a tire went down, I made a mistake, but it was good fun and my guys rallied after the first stop and gave me quick stops the rest of the night. It was a full house out there tonight and every one of them were on their feet; it was awesome coming across the front straight at the end of the race."
Hunter-Reay on the Race:
"I'm quite happy with the way things went today. The best thing is we are learning a lot. We had a miscalculation on fuel and that cost us a position, but other than that all was fine. I had a lot of fun out there tonight, it was great racing with Manning, Fernandez and Jimmy we stuck a good couple of passes in there. At the end of the day we were the top Reynard again and had the fourth fastest race lap, so that pleases me."
Graham Taylor, Team Manager:
"The American Spirit drivers charged hard all night. Ultimately it cost Jimmy a points scoring finish. He and Ryan had a great battle at the end; master and pupil. We lost a position for Ryan do to a short fill on the first stop, but he charged throughout the race to reduce that deficit. Each race meeting, our results improve, as does our rhythm as a team."
