Vasser did not participate in the third practice due to an electrical issue.
Vasser on Qualifying:
"None of those guys out there have any courtesy. There needs to be some penalties when guys don't use their mirrors, maybe they should have their fastest lap thrown out. It is really frustrating, you know when someone is on a flyer behind you and if you're not, it is common courtesy to get out of the way, I do. The car was pretty good off of the trailer, so I am encouraged for the weekend. It will feel good to get back out there tonight, once it cools down a bit."
Vasser on Practice:
"We played with the set-up a little bit tonight, we found that some of the things we tested worked and some didn't. I still think we have a pretty decent car for tomorrow. Running in the lights on a road course is completely different than running on an oval. The lighting here is amazing, but it is much more difficult to drive on a road course at night."
Hunter-Reay on Qualifying:
"The session was not bad considering our lack of front grip. We have some work to do tonight for sure; we definitely need to find some grip. We only used one set of tires, while almost everyone else used two that should give us a bit of an advantage in the race."
Hunter-Reay on Night Practice:
"We are definitely making progress. I am still fighting understeer, but there was an improvement. The lighting here is amazing, they have done a great job."
Graham Taylor, Team Manager:
"We feel we've got competitive cars from the start. Unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to show our full potential during qualifying. Jimmy's second run was compromised by other drivers. Ryan has made significant progress in a short amount of time today and we feel we will move forward in tomorrow's qualifying session."
