Mario Domínguez - Driver
"I was pretty comfortable in the car this morning. We were trying some different things on the car and we thought we could make a bit more progress during the qualifying session. Of course, we did find some time but we were hoping for more. Our Chief Engineer Tom Brown has a lot of experience so it really helps when you come to an oval and you have a good car under you from the very start. The race tomorrow is a long one so we'll just have to work hard to get the best result possible."

Fast Facts
* The CART Grand Prix of Chicago marks Domínguez's seventh start in the CART FedEx Championship Series.

* Domínguez last competed at the Chicago Motor Speedway in 2000 in a Dayton Indy Lights car. His best finish here was fifth in 1999.
