Corby, England - The skies have cleared, the track is dry. The champ cars are on the track for a one and a half hour practice session. The practice was delayed for over two hours while the jets dried the moisture that had settled on the track overnight. Work also continued on the weepers.

In the practice Kanaan was the fastest with a time of 24.719 (215.397 mph). He was is followed by Brack, Tracy, Franchitti and Moreno. All drivers have run faster than 200 mph

The schedule for race day has been changed again. At 3:45 to 3:52 p.m. local time (10:45 - 10:52 a.m. ET), the cars will be on track for an installation check.

The command to start engines will be given at 4:15 p.m. local time (11:15 a.m. ET) and the green flag is set to fly at approximately 4:30 p.m. local (11:30 a.m. ET). The race distance has also been changed, from 210 laps to 168, or from 500 to 400 kilometers.

ESPN2 is scheduled to carry television coverage of the Rockingham 500 in the United States beginning at 12:00 Noon ET.

All other international television coverage is expected to air live. Live radio coverage of the Rockingham 500 is also available on stations along the CART Radio Network, as well as on Yahoo! Sports and on CART.com.
