RYAN BRISCOE TO HELP MI-JACK CONQUEST RACING AT PORTLAND TEST

Indianapolis, Indiana, April 11, 2006 -- Former Toyota Formula 1 test driver, Australian Ryan Briscoe, will be in Portland this week helping the Mi-Jack Conquest Racing Team (MJCR) prepare for the June 18 race on the 1.964-mile permanent road course.

Briscoe, who recently participated in the A1GP race in China, will be sharing his duties with Dutchman Charles Zwolsman. The MJCR driver will see less testing action due to injured wrists suffered in pre-season testing in Fontana, as well as an injured back sustained during the opening laps of the race in Long Beach.

"We are thankful to Ryan Briscoe for coming in on such short notice to help us with our test in Portland," expressed Conquest Racing co-owner, Eric Bachelart. "Ryan is an excellent driver and can provide good technical feedback that will help us prepare our cars. Everyone on the team looks forward to working with him during this test."

"I'm really excited to be going to Portland to help the Mi-Jack Conquest Racing Team with the development of their car as well as get them ready for the Portland race," said 24-year-old Briscoe. "Champ Cars have a lot of horse power and no driver aids so they are great cars to drive. I'm also looking forward to working with Chris (Mower, Team Manager) again, who I worked with in the past."

Zwolsman and Briscoe will be on track at Portland International Raceway April 12 and 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
