Hometown favorite Manning collects top-ten at Brands Hatch; Lavin bring Corona Car home in 15th
Rodolfo Lavin (R) , #5 Corona Competition Team Ford-Cosworth XFE-Reynard-Bridgestone
"We were making some good lap times on the track and making good progress. The Corona car was pretty good on the second set of tires. The car was pushing a little bit on the first set of tires, but it was much better on the second and third sets. Feeling pretty good on the track; it's a very tiring track though. It keeps you very busy. I am very happy to finish the race. Now we have to work on qualifying in the next races."
Fast Facts: Today's 15th place finish matches his best finish this season (Monterrey Grand Prix, 23 March)
Darren Manning (R) , #15 Ford-Cosworth XFE-Reynard-Bridgestone
"We weren't getting very good fuel mileage and had to make three stops, so that hurt us a little bit. The RAC car was really competitive. I could stick with anyone I was on track with and I think we were one of the fastest cars on track through the middle part of the race. After starting out fastest in Saturday's practice sessions, it's a little bit disappointing to finish tenth. It's a shame we couldn't have posted a top-five finish for the home crowd. It was great to see the packed grandstands and have the support from the hometown crowd throughout the last several weeks."
Fast Facts: Manning's tenth place finish marks his third consecutive top-ten finish this year, Has earned four top-ten finishes in five starts, Best Champ Car finish to-date is seventh at the Monterrey Grand Prix (23 March)
