Figge 13th Despite Intermittent Rain and Challenging Conditions

Pacific Coast Motorsports kicked off the final round of their European adventure today, at the TT Assen Circuit. The 2.830-mile circuit is known for its fast, flowing corners. Earlier this week, Ryan Dalziel took his teammate Alex Figge home to his native Scotland for a few days of sight-seeing and relaxation. It was the young American's first trip to Scotland and he is ready to go back! The team traveled from Belgium to Holland on Monday. They made a stop at the famous Spa circuit, and then traveled to Amsterdam for an afternoon of sight-seeing in one of Europe's most famous cities.

"I am pleased. The conditions were changing and challenging and I think Burke (Harrison) and the team made a good call getting me out when they did. The track here is phenomenal and I would definitely say we are making improvements with the Plain Jane car, so I am optimistic for tomorrow."

"It was a tough session; we never really had the chance to show the potential of my Plain Jane Couture car in qualifying today. We took a gamble hoping the rain would stop and we missed the window. It was probably a mistake since I hail from Scotland and have probably twice as much experience racing in the rain as most of these guys! I am excited to see where we are at tomorrow."
