Helio Castroneves, Ryan Briscoe, Dario Franchitti and Ryan Hunter-Reay will fly to New York tonight for Monday morning media appearances. The rest of the field will fly to New York early Monday morning for a photo opportunity with the full starting field at Herald Square. Located at the intersection of 34th and Sixth Avenue, the Square was named after the New York Herald newspaper. The Macys across the street from Herald Square will offer fans a chance to have their picture taken with the Borg Warner Trophy.

As part of Armed Forces Day, Indiana Senator Richard Lugar led an induction ceremony in front of the Pagoda to swear-in new enlistees. Representatives from all five branches of the military were present. Dan Wheldon's Panther Racing entry is sponsored the National Guard and Raphael Matos' car is associated with the U.S. Air Force.

KV Racing Technology has filed a name change for the No. 5 driven by Mario Moraes. The entry has been changed to Azul Tequila-Votorantim-KV Racing and Azul is now emblazoned on the sidepods.

Sarah Fisher is set to start her eighth Indianapolis 500 next week, the most of any women. Lyn St. James started in seven 500s.

A special invitation-only preview of "Cody" will be held Thursday at Riley Hospital for Children. "Cody" is a heart-moving inspirational documentary about Cody Unser. Cody is the daughter of two-time Indy 500 winner Al Unser Jr and she suffers from transverse myelitis, a neurological diisorder. Cody Unser's First Step Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness regarding transverse myelitis. The film, narrated by Glenn Close, will appear on PBS stations this summer.
