ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT IZOD INDYCAR SERIES NOTES AND QUOTES, PRE-RACE HONDA INDY GRAND PRIX OF ALABAMA
MARCO ANDRETTI, #26 TEAM VENOM ENERGY DRINK CAR
"The season opener in St. Pete was a huge disappointment for the No. 26 car and we're definitely looking for better results this weekend. We ran really strong at Barber last season, but unfortunately our fuel strategy took us out of the lead too close to the end of the race. That said, I think the Venom car can be a contender again this time around. We're looking to capitalize on what should have been a win last year."
MIKE CONWAY, #27 TEAM WINDOW WORLD CARES CAR
"I think Barber should be a good weekend for us all. We showed good potential at the pre-season test and there is a bit more to come. Everyone is working hard to keep the momentum and speed up so hopefully it will be a strong weekend."
RYAN HUNTER-REAY, #28 TEAM DHL/SUN DROP CITRUS SODA CAR
"Our next round at Barber can't come soon enough after being taken out from behind in Round 1 at St. Pete. Barber is a track that demands the most from the driver and the car's setup. There's a very small window to get it all right and we're going back to Barber with some key changes we think will make a difference.
I think Barber should be a good weekend for us all.
"All of the drivers and teams have quite a bit of track time and experience at Barber so the grid will be extremely tight going into the race, which should make for an interesting weekend. We're focused on recording a solid result for our #28 DHL/Sun Drop team."
DANICA PATRICK, #7 TEAM GoDaddy.com CAR
"I think we are heading into Barber with some added confidence following the open test there a few weeks ago. We are going to take the data that we learned from the test and build upon the things that worked. Barber is a very challenging circuit so it's really important to have a car that I feel comfortable
