Ryan Hunter-Reay posted the fastest time in both practices session today

Ryan Hunter-Reay, No. 28 DHL Honda

Posted the fastest time in both practices session today
Started the 2013 Grand Prix of Alabama from the pole position

" The track was good. This is quite a bit hotter than we've been used to here at Barber, so it takes some getting used to. The track conditions have changed, so throwing the teams for a a bit of a loop, which I think is a good thing. We do test here quite a bit, we definitely can't get enough of Barber, but it's nice to have some different track conditions this time around. And certainly nice to have the DHL car in the P1 spot going into qualifying tomorrow. We won from the pole here last year and hopefully we're on the right track to do that again."

James Hinchcliffe, No. 27 United Fiber & Data Honda

Placed the United Fiber & Data Honda into the fifth position in the combined practice times
Started on the front row at Barber in 2012

" We were here for spring training and had a little bit of an idea of what to expect this weekend. Of course the conditions are a bit different now which has a huge affect on the track. The team did a great job though, obviously Ryan (Hunter-Reay) was quickest both sessions. I'm happy with the United Fiber & Data Honda, but still a little bit of work to do for tomorrow."

Carlos Muñoz, No. 34 Cinsay Honda

Fastest rookie on the combined timesheets today in P12
Will qualify in Group 1 for tomorrow's qualifying session

" I think things went pretty good today; the afternoon was better than the morning session. But, things feel good... I think we have to work a little bit tonight. In Long Beach I improved a lot over the weekend, so hopefully I will do the same here. In the first session, the track had much more grip so it was tougher, but we have a good idea of what to do for tomorrow."

Marco Andretti, No. 25 Snapple Honda

Finished today's practice sessions ranked seventh overall
Will take the track as part of the second group for tomorrow's qualifying session

"We weren't as high on the charts as we wanted to be today and still have a few things to dial in on the Snapple car. But our teammates were quick and we are headed in the right direction. We'll look at everything tonight and do our best to come ready for qualifying tomorrow."
