Bahrain MRF Challenge: Troitskiy leads in practice

Russian Nikita Troitskiy led the way in the lone practice session at the Bahrain International circuit in the second round of the MRF Challenge series.

Troitskiy lapped in a 2m02.766s, 0.297s ahead of Indian Tarun Reddy, who had completed the most laps in the session.

The unofficial championship leader Pietro Fittipaldi slotted in at third, while Sean Walkinshaw was fourth and new entrant Alessio Picariello completed the top five.

The top five were all within a second in the lone practice session ahead of qualifying.

Tatiana Calderon, who did her track walk with Juan Pablo Montoya yesterday, finished sixth ahead of Max Fewtrell.

In a fairly incident free session, the top 10 was completed by Dylan Young, Matheus Leist and Karthik Tharani.
