NGT Motorsport has decided to withdraw from competition in the newly formed series, effective immediately.
NGT Motorsport has pulled their No. 30 Porsche 911 out of GTD competition in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. The car's full-time drivers are Henrique Cisneros and Kuba Giermaziak.
The orginization will take part in the race at the Circuit of The Americas later this year however. MOMO partner Henrique Cisneros cited that the decision was a result of both business and family obligations.
The gentleman driver was quoted as saying that turmoil in his home country of Venezuela was a major influence on the call to withdraw from five of the six remaining events on the calendar.
The Miami-based team currently sits 14th in the GTD championship standings, and has finished as high as sixth in class in 2014 competition.
Henrique’s brother Eduardo will continue to pilot the No. 29 MOMO NGT GT3 Porsche 911 in the IMSA GT3 Cup Championship.
