Krohn Racing contemplates USCR

What to do in 2014? Tracy Krohn unsure about next season.

Tracy Krohn is unhappy with the time its taking the United SportsCar Racing (USCR) series to release its regulation as the American owner/driver contemplates a change for 2014, according to a report from

“It’s really disappointing that they haven’t given more clarity on the rules as it/s really hard to plan,” said Krohn. “We don’t know what we’re going to do at this point.”

The team has run a Ferrari in the WEC GTE-Am class for two years, and can keep that car or move on to a LMP2 program that can run in both WEC and USCR, which he has expressed interest in previously.

Krohn won’t rule out a move to the USCR, but says that he would be more inclined to run in a series that he knows.

“It’s been a pretty successful championship with good officiating, and it’s a well-organized series,” said Krohn. “Whereas with USCR, you really don’t know what is going to happen.”
