Braselton, Ga., (April 30, 2013) – The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) announced today its agreement with MOMO to become a presenting partner in expanded video productions for the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge Series by Yokohama with an enhanced distribution campaign.

Having competed in the series for two years, MOMO shareholder and MOMO NGT Motorsport Porsche GTC driver Henrique Cisneros understands the value of the competitive series that serves as a stepping-stone to professional racing.

“MOMO decided to be a sponsor this year because it is a right fit for our company in order to tell the racing world that MOMO is back into racing and serious about it,” Cisneros said. “We also hope to build some brand loyalty with the competitors and fans of the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup.”

All races will be distributed through the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge and MOMO YouTube channels and www.momousa.com. The increased distribution opportunities create more enhancement and awareness for the highly competitive 16-race series at eight venues across North America.

“Racing has always been an important line of business for MOMO,” said MOMO USA General Manager Marc Phaneuf. “The MOMO brand was built on racing and the association with the IMSA GT3 Cup Series is a natural extension of that motorsports heritage.”

In addition to race recaps currently featured on DRIVE, TangentVector will produce race reviews and expanded 45-minute format shows, enabling the series to further develop storylines and varied programming. TangentVector plans to make recaps available immediately following race weekend, building excitement for expanded shows targeted within seven to 10 days of the actual race event.

The first feature from the 2013 IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge Series by Yokohama season kick off at Sebring International Raceway for the 61st Anniversary Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida is now live on the GT3 Cup Challenge and MOMO YouTube Channels.

The second race of the season, the American Le Mans Monterey Presented by Patrón, takes place at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, Calif., May 9-11.
