Full details are in the preparation stages however, Cooper will pilot a brand new 2011 997 Cup Car throughout 9 weekends (all double-headers) in the IMSA sanctioned series participating in support of the American LeMans Series.

Maintaining a defense of his National T2 SCCA points championship, MacNeil will also make another run at a SCCA Championship driving his E46 BMW M3 racecar, prepared by Fall-Line Motorsports.

"It's amazing to have my plans set for 2011," MacNeil stated. "Obviously racing for two championship caliber teams at such a young age is a fantastic opportunity. I'm particularly excited to start developing my relationship with my new team Alex Job, whom my racing coach Randy Pobst drove to success with. For sure, 2011 will be an intense and busy season, but with my fantastic partners; WeatherTech.com, MacNeil Automotive Products, Laurel BMW of Westmont, Alex Job Racing, Fall-Line Motorsports and ProMotion Driver Development, we should be able to continue our winning ways.

Cooper plans to hit the track several more times in 2010 testing and racing again in the worlds longest race, The 25 Hours of Thunderhill.
