PRACTICE SESSION

TOSHIBA COPIERS AND FAX NEVADA GRAND PRIX LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

Friday, April 24, 1998

The Visteon Panoz Racing Team had a very good day at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway -- both the #4 and #5 Panoz GTR-1s are running strong and are ready for qualifying tomorrow.

Andy Wallace, #4 Panoz GTR-1: "The car is running very well. Good balance, good traction, and the engine is the best one we've ever had. I'm very pleased." David Brabham, #4 Panoz GTR-1: "The car feels very good. The changes we've made from the test session yesterday to today have certainly improved the Visteon Panoz. I would just like to be a bit better under braking. We're fast and the car feels good, but you always want more."

Eric Bernard, #5 Panoz GTR-1: "The car is getting better per session. We've made some adjustments and we've found a good compromise for this track. The biggest problem here is the traffic because it's a really difficult place to overtake."

Raul Boesel, #5 Panoz GTR-1: "I think practice went well. The track is getting more rubber on it, so there's more grip."

Tony Dowe, Managing Director, Panoz Motor Sports: "It's been quite a good day. Everything has gone along nice and smooth."
