BRASELTON, Ga. (September 12, 2002) -- Dennis Huth, who has been President of the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) since May of 2001, is no longer affiliated with the organization.

Scott Atherton, President and COO of the Panoz Motor Sports Group, said that Huth's departure from the organization was by mutual understanding. Atherton said that his office would work directly with the existing management team of IMSA in assuming day-to-day operations of the organization until a permanent replacement is confirmed.

IMSA is a sanctioning body for professional road racing in North America, including the American Le Mans Series, Star Mazda Series, Panoz Racing Series and the Super Truck Racing Association of North America.
