Tom Kristensen was at the 2013 Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix this weekend. He competed in the historic event and also took part in a worthy cause.

TK was seen racing a Lotus Cortina in the actual event in Copenhagen, but he was also there to take part in the “Race for Riget”, an annual fund raising event at the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix. The initiative on this occasion was to raise money for "Rigshospitalets", specifically the National Hospital’s Children’s Department. Kristensen was involved as he was driving an Audi R8 LMS ultra (2012 specification) for taxi-rides. Fans at the event had the opportunity to buy tickets to experience a lap inside the R8 with TK. It is thanks to Audi Denmark for organising the R8 LMS ultra’s appearance with TK. This event also marked the first time that an Audi R8 LMS ultra had been run in Denmark. Thus it was very fitting that Mr Le Mans, and Danish racing legend, Tom Kristensen, be the driver of the Audi.

It is always great to see Audi cars and drivers taking part in worthy initiatives like these.
