Dave Causey and Luke Stear win the 500 mile SCCA sports car race at Elkart Lake, Wisconsin, USA, in a Maserati Tipo 60 "Birdcage". To celebrate the victory, their crew shaves off Stear's moustache and most of Causey's hair (1960).
