Jackie Stewart leads the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort from flag to flag, and scores the first GP win for the Matra MS10-Ford. J-P Beltoise finishes second in a Matra MS11 (1968).

George Amick wins the USAC Championship race at Langhorne, Pennsylvania. First win for an Andy Dunlap prepared car (1956).
