December 25 - Drag racer Tony Schumacher, son of drag racer Don Schumacher, born (1969).

- Chickie Hirashima dies of natural causes (1980).

- Wilson Fittipaldi, F1 racer, brother of Emmerson Fittipaldi, and father of Christian Fittipaldi, born (1943).

December 26 - Designer Adrian Newey born (1958).
