Jackie Stewart and Andy Buchanan drive a Ferrari 250LM to victory in the Surfer's Paradise 12 hour race in Queensland, Australia (1966).
Juan Pablo Montoya wins the CART Target Grand Prix at the Chicago Motor Speedway in Cicero, Illinois, USA (1999).
Correction: Last week's entry for August 15 had 2 errors in it. George Follmer was driving a Porsche-powered Lotus 23, not a Ford-powered Lotus 70 at Continental Divide in 1965. In addition, his was a class win, as the overall victory went to Hap Sharp in a Chaparral.
