Ronnie Peterson drives a Tecno to victory in the F3 race at Falkenburg in Halland, Sweden (1969).

April 28
Walter Baumer and Huschke von Hanstein drive a BMW 328 Touring Coupe to victory in the Grand Prix of Brescia (Mille Miglia) in Italy. With other team cars finishing third, fifth, and sixth, the BMW team entered under the 1st SS Reitersturm Berlin also wins the team award (1940).
