April 20, 1997 -- Butch Leitzinger and James Weaver post a 5.128-second victory over their Dyson Racing teammates in the two-hour World Sportscar Championship race at Road Atlanta. The winners drive a Riley&Scott Ford MkIII.

April 21, 2002 -- The NASCAR Busch North Series opens the season at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H. For the first time, Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the series. During the season, the series drivers set 11 qualifying and race records.

April 24, 1983 -- In a one-off pairing of racing's Odd Couple, A.J. Foyt and Mario Andretti share a Goodyear-shod Porsche 935 for the 6-hour IMSA race at Riverside International Raceway.

April 25, 1976 -- Vittorio Brambilla and Jean-Pierre Jarier win Goodyear's initial victory in the World Sports Car Championship when they post a one-lap victory in their Alfa Romeo 33SC12 in a 500 kilometer race at Monza.

April 25, 1997 -- Warren Johnson rides his Goodyear tires into history as he becomes the first NHRA Pro Stock racer to make a 200 mph pass. Johnson is clocked at 200.53 mph at Richmond.
