Norwich, UK, Thursday 28th August 2003: The Taurus Sports driving partnership of Justin Keen and American Larry Oberto will be reunited at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend, when the UK-based race outfit challenge for glory in the gruelling '1,000km de Spa' endurance event. The pair's previous outing took place in March at the Sebring 12 Hours, Taurus Sports inaugural race, where they finished a creditable 10th in the LMP900 class.

Joining Justin and Larry behind the wheel of the Lola Judd B2K/10b and adding a touch of Italian flavour to the driver line-up will be Giovanni Lavaggi; no stranger to Team Proprietor Ian Dawson having previously worked together at the Pacific Grand Prix team.

The driving trio will need to put the Lola chassis, with its Judd V10 engine and Dunlop tyres, through a total of 144 laps of the Belgian circuit in their hunt for a podium finish in the 1,000km race, a part of the 2003 FIA Sports Car Championship.

Ian Dawson, Team Proprietor and Race Director:

"Giovanni adds speed and experience to the Team and I am looking forward to seeing him back behind the wheel again. We are also delighted to have Larry with us in Spa and hopefully he will be part of a larger race programme in the future. He drove at Spa with some success in 2001 and is relishing this opportunity."

"I am personally looking forward to visiting Spa, one of my favourite circuits, and believe that Taurus Sports is capable of securing a podium place. The Lola has been improving race-by-race and we were very pleased to see Justin qualify on the front row during our last race at Donington. We expect a strong showing at Spa and certainly have the balance of speed and experience to maximise our potential in this long and very demanding race."

Morning and afternoon qualifying sessions take place on Saturday 30th August with the '1,000km de Spa' commencing at 12:50pm on Sunday 31st.
