BRASELTON, GA., September 14, 1998 - - Live flag-to-flag radio coverage of the premiere Petit Le Mans Saturday, Oct. 10 at Road Atlanta will be aired on the new Petit Le Mans Radio Web presented by BMW, it was announced today.

"The website and radio broadcast will insure that live and up-to-date information on the Petit Le Mans will be available to race fans around the world," said Bill Donaldson, event manager of the race. "Producing the website in this way is another step in making this a world-class event."

During race week, the Petit Le Mans Radio Web presented by BMW will provide more than 17 hours of coverage of activities surrounding the inaugural event, starting with scrutineering and technical inspection on Tuesday, Oct. 6 and Wednesday, Oct. 7.

Live broadcasting on the site begins Thursday, Oct. 8 with coverage of night practice for GT and World Sports Cars 6-9 p.m. (EDT). The schedule for Friday, Oct. 9 shows GT and World Sports Car qualifying 1-5:30 p.m. and Race Day coverage begins with pre-race coverage at 9 a.m. and runs nonstop through 1O p.m.

On-site radio broadcasts and other Petit Le Mans programming will feature the voice talent of Radio Le Mans, John Hindhaugh and Eurosports, Martin Haven.

News, scoring information and digital pictures will also be available on the site.

Leading up to the event, the site will feature a complete visitors guide to the race and circuit, ticket information, schedules, entry lists and information on the teams and drivers.
