René Arnoux takes to the Magny Cours circuit on July 28/29 at the wheel of a Lamborghini Diablo GTR when he takes part in the fourth round of this year's popular Lamborghini GTR Supertrophy. The 53-year old Frenchman is the veteran of 149 Formula One races and made his name with Renault and Ferrari in the turbo era of F1 during the 1980s.

René steps into the cockpit of Lamborghini's own GTR as VIP driver for the French round of the seven race series, which is currently led by Italy's Gianni brothers, with Stephane Lang-Willar from France at the top Gentleman Driver.

A winner of the 1982 French GP, René never raced F1 cars at Magny Cours, as his home round of the FIA World Championship took to the circuits at Dijon and Paul Ricard at that time.
