The Britcar peoples champions -- Team Scandal, have today confirmed they will be racing in the 2006 Avon British GT Series.

Having enjoyed a dominant victory in the final round of the 2005 Britcar season and citing British GT as the pinnacle of British endurance racing, team Director Simon Scuffham enthusiastically confirmed the teams departure from Britcar, a series that they had contested with a Lotus Elise, for the past 6 seasons.

"British GT is what we have been working towards for the past few seasons. Britcar enabled us to develop the lotus to within an inch of perfection and served as a major enhancement not only to the team's perception but also in how we approach a race weekend. British GT is a natural evolution from that point and we look forward to mixing it at the top end of the grid for 2006".

The Aylesbury based team have also confirmed that they will contest the series in the newly acquired Prosport LM 3000 that so dominated the final round of the Britcar series in 2005.
