MICHAEL AND PADDY WIN AGAIN

CR Scuderia took another British GT win today, without having to turn a wheel! The results from round four at Knockhill were provisional and now, after a review of video evidence, the top four finishers and the no.9 Lamborghini have been disqualified for either overtaking under yellow flags or driving standards.

This decision means that Michael Cullen and Paddy Shovlin's fifth place finish at Knockhill is now a race victory and the other two CRS Ferraris move up to sixth (Metcalfe/Hines) and seventh (Sutton/Meadows) places respectively.

Michael and Paddy actually picked up a disqualification too (for overtaking under yellow flags) but in round three, in which they finished fifth, but the end result is that all three CRS Ferraris have moved up in the Championship standings and the Irish pair have extended their lead at the top of the tables.

"We were a bit disappointed to be thrown out of round three," said Michael. "But obviously delighted to get the win for round four, especially as that is the race we started from the back of the grid. It's still early days in this Championship but it's good to consolidate our lead and now we look forward to keeping our heads down and getting more good results."

Round five of the British GT Championship takes place at Rockingham this afternoon at 1525hrs.

(results still provisional subject to appeals)
