Thomas Erdos has had a brilliant start to his 2002 season. His return to GT racing -- and to a team managed by Graham Nash -- was rewarded by his first win in over three years when he and co-driver Ian McKellar Jnr swept to victory in Round 1 of the 2002 British GT Championship at Brands Hatch on April 1st. Driving the awesomely quick Saleen S7-R, they romped away to win easily following the retirement of their only real challengers, the titleholders Mike Jordan and David Warnock in the factory-run Lister Storm. Now they are preparing to do it again at Round 2 next weekend at Donington Park.

Victory came after a promising first few months to the year. Thomas set second-fastest race lap in his class for the Daytona 24 Hours (bettered only by the unrestricted" Jaguar" Trans-Am hybrid which went on to win the class) and was impressively the quickest Saleen driver in the Sebring 12 Hours last month. The car itself has also proved highly rewarding for Graham Nash Motorsport, securing two further victories in last weekend's Spanish GT event at Albacete. The squad is now running two such cars, as well as a pair of 911 GT3-RS Porsches.

Commentary on all these events, as well as ongoing news, reports and photographs, are now a key feature of the Thomas Erdos Website. We shall endeavour to maintain the site on a regular basis, uploading race reports as soon as they are completed, and advising visitors of upcoming events.
