SIGALSPORT LOOKING FOR A GOOD RESULT AT THE GLEN COMPUSA 200 PREVIEW

Los Angeles, August 8, 2005: Since the Alabama race, the Sigalsport crew has been working hard to prepare the #05 Alhadeff Companies / Motul / The Speed Gallery / GlycoMax Sigalsport Porsche GT3 Cup car for the Glen 2. On the driver's side, in an effort to keep their momentum running after the Porsche 250, Gene Sigal and Matt Alhadeff competed last weekend in the Trois Rivieres Grand Am Cup event in Canada.

The CompUSA 200 at the Glen is the second of the three Rolex Series races scheduled this season at Watkins Glen. For this two day-event, the competitors of the Rolex Series will be using the 2.45-mile road short course instead of the traditional 3.4-mile long road. The CompUSA 200 at the Glen is a compacted two-day event since it is run the same weekend as the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series and the Rolex Series 200-mile race will be run on Friday evening.

This Watkins Glen race marks the ninth out of fourteenth rounds in the series. With six races to go, Sigalsport is still looking to join the top ten teams in the championships but the accident that occurred in Alabama will certainly make it more difficult for the Los Angeles based team which now cannot make any more mistakes to reach their goal.

The CompUSA 200 is the shortest race of the year and with 24 GT cars entered, the battle promises to be epic. In his quest to take the team to the next level, team owner Gene Sigal hired a new engineer, Rod Everett, who makes his debut with the team this week. Rod has over 15 years of experience working with open wheel cars and prototypes and will work with Gene Sigal and Matt Alhadeff to help them get a better and faster car to obtain a better qualifying position and also make the car more competitive in the race.

The CompUSA 200 at Watkins Glen, New York is set for Friday, August 12 at 6:00 PM Eastern Time and will be televised with a short delay on Speed TV, the same day, at 10:00 PM Eastern Time.
