DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (May 31, 2006) - The "GlycoMax Endurance Challenge," a contingency program that was announced earlier this season at the Rolex 24 At Daytona, will contest its second round at Watkins Glen International for the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, June 2-3. The award provides $4,000 to the highest combined points earners in both the Daytona Prototype and GT classes from the three endurance races on the schedule.
All teams that competed in this season's Rolex 24 At Daytona are currently eligible to compete for the award. Those teams must display the GlycoMax sticker on their car during the two remaining endurance races -- this weekend's Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen and the Discount Tire SunChaser 9--Hour at Miller Motorsports Park, September 2.
