COMPUSA ON POLE FOLLOWING FRIDAY QUALIFYING CANCELLATION

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (June 2, 2006) -- Although Rolex Series points leaders Scott Pruett and Luis Diaz of CompUSA Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates finished ninth in today's final practice with a top time of 1:46.377 (115.062mph), the duo will start tomorrow's Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen on pole position after the field was set on team points.

Friday's Daytona Prototype action featured three practice sessions but no qualifying following Thursday's legal action, which prevented the cars from practicing.

Pruett will lead the no.01 CompUSA Lexus-Riley from pole position as the team starts from the inside of Row 1 for the third time in 2006 (Mexico City, Long Beach). It also marks the fourth front-row start of the season after Diaz qualified second in Phoenix in Round 7.

The pole position is the 18th in 34 career Rolex Series starts for the no.01 CompUSA Lexus-Riley, and the first since Diaz drove to the Long Beach pole in Round 4.

The Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, Round 8 of the Rolex Sports Car Series season, airs live tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. ET on SPEED Channel.

CGRFS Driver Quoteboard

SCOTT PRUETT "Well, it's kind of hard to say what would have happened had we ran the qualifying session. But the CompUSA team was focused on running race setups during practice, so with full fuel loads and changes here and there, I think it's realistic to believe we would have been in the top three either way. With that being said, I still think the biggest question mark for the race tomorrow is weather. We haven't seen a drop of rain here yet, and that could obviously change the complexion of the six hours."
