Farnbacher Loles heads to VIR

After two consecutive podiums, the Farnbacher Loles Racing Team is ready for a win in the Grand-Am Rolex GT Series. Team owner Gregory Loles feels good about the team's performance and momentum heading into this weekend's race at Virginia International Raceway. "We've been running at the front but haven't had the luck or timing on our side to grab the top step of the podium. The drivers and the crew are seriously motivated to get that first win of the season. With the GT cars running in their own race this weekend, we'll have a really good opportunity to show what we can do. Our Porsches have been fast at every track and we expect them to be very competitive at VIR."

In the team's first full season in the series, they've made a solid start. In Mexico City, Leh Keen and Dominik Farnbacher took their #85 Shoes For Crews/Recaro Porsche GT3 Cup to second place while Bryce Miller and Dirk Werner grabbed fourth in the #87 Marquis Jet/IPC/Paul Miller Porsche/Recaro Porsche 997 GT3 Cup. In the Homestead round, it was the #87 on the podium as Miller and Werner overcame a cut tire on the opening lap to charge back to third place. With gearbox problems slowing the car, Keen and Farnbacher still managed to finish fifth. After three races, the cars are fourth and fifth in team points.

The 2.5 hour GT race starts at 4:30pm on Saturday April 28th.
